In addition to Dr. O’Neill’s role as chairman of the Board of Directors, he leads a team of permanent and ad hoc scientific and medical advisors. An author of more than 700 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. O’Neill is an international leader in the field of interventional cardiology and in the research of new medicines and techniques to diagnose and treat obstructed heart arteries. He has led and participated in countless device and drug clinical trials including, most recently, percutaneous valve replacement.
Dr. O’Neill has extensive, long-standing relationships with key individuals in all segments of the cardiology business, most importantly the research community.
