Ms. Katz-Pek has an extensive background and experience in the start-up environment. She is a founder and (retired) principal of Biotechnology Business Consultants, LLC (renamed BBCetc), advisors and managers to start-up and development stage companies. Mickey is a co-founder of the Michigan Biotechnology Association (now MichBio) and served as the chairperson of the Michigan Center for High Technology. She is on the board of directors of NSF International Holdings.
